Recommended Gas Monitoring Sensors for the Metallurgical and Steel Industry

Gas detection is widely used in the metallurgical industry, mainly in steel and aluminum production. China is a major steel-producing country.
Gas sensors for carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen oxides, etc., are extensively applied in the steel and aluminum smelting industries. These sensors are primarily used to monitor fuel combustion conditions, improve fuel utilization efficiency, save energy and reduce consumption, monitor waste gas emissions, reduce pollution, as well as detect gas leaks in industrial sites to ensure production safety and prevent occupational diseases.
Enterprises with a production capacity of one million tons require an average of about 300 gas detection instruments per year, while large steel enterprises with a production capacity of ten million tons have an annual demand of 500 units. Based on the calculation of 93 steel enterprises with a million-ton scale and 17 steel enterprises with a ten-million-ton output, the total demand reaches 36,400 units. When including aluminum smelting and other metallurgical sectors, the annual demand will be even higher.
